Calligraphy is an «adult» art form. In Greek «calligraphy» means «beautiful handwriting». Despite its centuries-old history, calligraphy continues to evolve today. This work is relevant because Arabic calligraphy is still of sacred importance for the Islamic world. One of the first associations with the Eastern world is Islam, in which calligraphy for Muslims has had for centuries a sacred meaning associated with religion. Therefore, Arabic calligraphy and the East are inseparable concepts. This study will help to identify the relationship between calligraphy and the peculiarities of the Eastern world. This topic is revealed by the time of the development of calligraphy, which is why the plan of its disclosure in the following chapters and sub-chapters are: 1. Calligraphy in the period of the Arab Caliphate (7th-13th century); 2. Calligraphy in Ottoman Arabia (1517-1928); 3. Calligraphy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (1932– ) or contemporary calligraphy; 3.1. Charles Hossein Zenderudi; 3.2. Mohammad Ehsa; 3.3. Majid Abassi, 3.4 Reza Abedini; 3.5. Aschan Hasani; 3.6. Ibrahim Postini; 3.7. Shaft Rambod; 3.8. Homa Delvara; 3.9. Amir Karimian; 3.10. Sard, Sezginler; 3.11. Mohamed Samir
