DO I? Wedding Brand Concept. Rethinkinh Wedding Fashion.

Wedding is one of the most important events for most of the girls. And a wedding dress is absolutely necessary, also it has a big emotional undertone. So the author`s future wedding brand will provide an idea of beautiful, conceptual, modern, practical and comfortable wedding dresses. Firstly, in this study, it was important to learn the history of traditional white wedding dresses, all information was divided into three big categories: iconic wedding dresses, image of the bride in art and cinema and fashion, this part incudes fashion editorials and runway looks. Then analysis continued with Queen Victoria`s wedding dress, better known as the first white wedding dress and finished with very impressive Priyanka Chopra dress by Ralph Lauren. The most helpful source for this research was “Vogue Weddings; Brides, Dresses, Designers” written and edited by famous fashion historical Hamish Bowles. History knowledge is absolutely important in wedding fashion because even during the feminist era most brides want to look like a princess at their wedding. Today this industry offers a reflection on the wedding fashion trends of the 50s and 90s. So, this research combines historical context with modern trends to create another pattern of thinking about wedding dresses. The result of this research show that most wedding brands conceptions nowadays reflects the fashion of the 50`s and 90`s of the 20th century and meant to be comfortable and useful not only for wedding ceremony. The created in this research a new collection of wedding dresses reflects this trend and presents several examples of wedding dresses which are, on the one hand solemn due to the fabric and decor and, on the other hand, comfortable physically and mentally due to the form and cut.
