It is important to point out that the study considers the bureaucratic structure not from the perspective of the bureaucracy by Max Weber, but within the concept of New Public Management (NPM). The structure of the work includes an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. The introduction contains descriptions of the subjects of the study. The first chapter is devoted to the review of scientific literature on a given subject: the main characteristics of NPM, the definition of efficiency, organization, organizational structure, connections between these concepts. The second chapter is an analysis of the tools that organization "Air Liquide" uses to reduce the inefficiency of the bureaucratic structure. The conclusion is a synthesis of the received information, as well as a proposal of recommendations. The main results s of this work are: the concept of New Public Management really affects the efficiency of public organizations, but it is very difficult to predict the form of consequences (positive/negative); tools to reduce inefficiency from the use of bureaucratic structure, which are used in "Air Liquide", can help to improve efficiency of public organizations.
