Clinical studies today are large business projects, where along with the scientific and practical component, also a great importance has a competent project management. This scientific work shows the distinctive features of clinical research projects in oncology from projects performed in other areas. The work carried out a thorough analysis of the entire structure of clinical trials in oncology, studied the problems and risks facing the study. The given work proposes recommendations on identification of risks and problems faced in the process of project realization, risk management through the introduction of scientific and practical foundations of project management in various stages of clinical research in oncology.
