The purpose of this work is to develop a prototype of a program containing a database and a mathematical apparatus, which will allow us to estimate the persistence of computer equipment in accordance with the conditions of storage. This document presents an analysis of existing persistence assessment methodologies. A new methodology for assessing the persistence of computer devices has been created, which allows us to take into account the workload of the equipment and the seasonal temperature distribution for the entire period of equipment operation.
