Nowadays, it is difficult to find a business that is not represented on the Internet in some way. Companies use a variety of methods in order to expand communication channels with their users. Therefore, a web resource created for a project becomes one of the crucial tools for interaction with users and an essential way of representing a brand face. Nevertheless, not every site is able to show the company in the right way and increase the trust of clients. This paper aims to propose new mathematical methods for evaluating the effectiveness of a web-resource, which will help to optimize it. To build new performance indicators, the apparatus of Markov and semi-Markov processes is used, and the achievement functionality is considered.
