Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Computer Systems and Networks (Master)

Final Grade: 9

Year of Graduation: 2019

The purpose of this work is to develop a mathematical model of network attacks impact on the functioning of wireless sensor networks. The paper studies the characteristics of the functioning of the WSN in terms of vulnerability and exposure to network threats; classified the main groups and types of information security threats in WSN; a review and analysis of existing information security solutions in WSN; described threat model; the parameters for assessing the impact of threats to the functioning of the WSN are defined. The result of the work is the implementation of a mathematical model for determining and analyzing the extent to which threats affect information security in WSN and its visual environment in the form of an analytical application. The research carried out in the work has a scientific value on the basis of which a mathematical model was developed. The scope of this work is 62 pages. There have been used 11 graphic materials and 8 tables. The basis for writing the work were 43 used sources.
