Legal aspects of trademark use in the Internet

Today, Russian manufacturers, when conducting business, are oriented towards a foreign manufacturer, which affects the active use of means of individualization in practice and indicates the need for legislative regulation of this institution. Despite the fact that Russian legislation contains rules governing the protection of means of individualization, not enough, and the statement of norms leaves much to be desired. The aim of the study is to analyze and identify the fundamental legal characteristics of the means of individualization on the Internet, to consider the shortcomings of the norms that currently exist in the legislation of the Russian Federation, and to develop regulations on improving the mechanism for protecting the means of individualization on the Internet. Achieving these goals is possible when solving the following tasks: 1) reviewing the history of the development of the Internet, identifying its main characteristics; 2) identification of the main problems of determining the civil status of the Internet; 3) consideration of objects of means of individualization on the Internet in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation; 4) Analysis of the application of the legislation of the Russian Federation on the means of individualization to the relations developing in the Internet; 5) 5. Preparation of recommendations for improving the legislation of the Russian Federation on the means of individualization to the relations developing on the Internet. This work consists of an introduction, two chapters, which include paragraphs, conclusion and list of used regulations and literature.
