The search of effective management methods contributing to performance optimisation of medical organisations becomes more significant in modern conditions. The methodology of identifying organisations’ key processes, based on constant improvements with the goal to effectively achieve the planned result, is used more often in medical organisations management. It was successfully confirmed that decomposition of the organisation’s main medical process, using the process approach, one of the basic principles of the International Standards ISO 9001:2015, helps to manage its effectiveness and efficiency indicators. The results of the implementation of the process approach in the domestic medical organisation have proved that its use directly affects the quality of the medical care. Using the unique methods as well as the experience in applying the process approach in the domestic medical organisations, the current research proposes the methodology of its implementation to create a transparent, effective and efficient model for managing therapeutic and diagnostic processes.
