This master's thesis "The Evolution of Japanese-North Korean Relations in 1994-2011" includes the whole range of factors affecting the relations between two countries. Processes of normalization of the diplomatic relations of DPRK and Japan, the historical background of the existing problems, the influence of external and internal factors were studied. The goal of this work is to concentrate on the positive changes and trends that can become the basis for the resumption of normalization processes in relations between Tokyo and Pyongyang.
