This study focused on economic activities that Japan and the GMS have done so far in regards to Laos as a member country of the GMS programme since Japan has played the important role by providing bilateral assistance through ADB for merging into capitalism of Japan by positioning Laos as the source of energy security and the physical link to other member countries of the GMS programme further in order to facilitate the function of capitalism system driven by Japan.
