Online Service Income Research Based on Theory of Semi-Markov Processes

The object of the research is the online-service with the advertisement monetization strategy. The purpose of this work is to estimate the pages in terms of advertising success. Firstly, the process of the user visiting the service is described as a semi-Markov process. Secondly, simulation modeling of user random walk is introduced in order to analyze the asymptotic behavior. Then, the variance was analyzed through the integral equations of the timeshare accumulated in every state. The results of the work will be valuable both for the advertisers and online-service managers.
