Research of Using Digital Fingerprint to Fraud Prevention

The topic of the final qualifying paper is “Research device fingerprinting for preventing fraud.” Keywords: digital fingerprint, fingerprint, antifraud, fraud prevention, information security, personal data, banking security, financial security, cybersecurity, online banking, IT-banking, Fintech, information system, risk assessment, device identification. Object of work: device identification by digital fingerprintt, as one of the ways to assess the risk of operations in financial online-services. Subject of work: device fingerprinting, classification, basic technics, guide about evaluating its effectiveness for business. Objective: simplify the introduction and evolve the technology in fintech organizations. The main tasks solved in the process of performing the work: analysis of existing techniques for identifying devices, comparing their effectiveness in the context of a designated goal, experimental research on a sample of anonymised data, suggesting a strategy based on the conclusions from the experiment.
