As a result of the research a book that contains visual and written material devoted to the artworks on the issue was prepared. It includes more than 80 artworks of different genres and places of origin. So, it gives a quite wide and up-to-date overview on the issue of man and nature represented in the area of contemporary art. The materials of this research were used as an ideological basis for the diploma project, devoted to the creation of the collection of "bionic infographic". The idea of the project was to create a new approach of applying bionic for creating data visualizations and to represent the issue of relationship between man nature using this approach. Finally, a collection of data visualization pieces of art on this topic with the use of micro – biological cell shapes was created.
