Student: Shibaev Roman

Supervisor: Sergey Polesskiy

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Computer Systems and Networks (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2019

The graduation thesis includes pages 68, figures 12 and tables 10. Key words: reliability, software, methods of calculation of software reliability, project evaluation. Objects of research are methods and techniques of software reliability calculation at design stages. The purpose of the work is to review the main directions of research in the field of software reliability, with further selection of the most effective methods, with subsequent assessment of software reliability. Relevance of this work is conditioned by the problems of reliability of modern software tools as a result of software complexity growth and responsibility imposed on software and hardware complexes. The paper deals with the issues of software reliability forecasting as an integral part of modern electronic means at early stages of the life cycle. The main provisions of software reliability assurance are described, modern models of reliability forecasting as well as methods of software reliability assurance at the stages of analysis, design, implementation and testing, manufacturing and maintenance are considered. The analysis and review of methods of software reliability assurance at the stages of development is carried out. The graduate qualification work consists of 5 main parts: introduction, general part, special part, experimental part and conclusion.
