Features and Mechanisms of Management of the Programs of Housing Renovation: Domestic Practice and Foreign Experience

Undoubtedly, over time, the housing stock becomes dilapidated, and its condition does not meet modern requirements and needs of citizens. Therefore, the issue of managing the implementation of housing renovation is given considerable attention in many countries. The purpose of this work is to determine the features and mechanisms of management of renovation programs in Russia and foreign countries. This study also contains an analysis and comparison of foreign experience and domestic practice of housing renovation. The paper deals with the basic concepts that relate to the renovation of the living environment, highlights the key criteria and factors of the effectiveness of renovation projects. The result of this research work is a SWOT-analysis of the program of renovation of housing in Moscow, as well as the development of practical recommendations for the management of such programs.
