The Study of Blockchain Technology Deployment Impact on Business Performance in Retail

Takzhe byli rassmotreny prakticheskiye podkhody k opredeleniyu rezul'tativnosti blokcheyna v trekh otraslyakh riteyla: bankovskom, produktovom, neproduktovom i farmatsevticheskom. Nakonets, byli sformirovany rekomendatsii k vyboru optimal'noy strategii primeneniya tekhnologii blokcheyn i izmereniyu yego rezul'tativnosti. Развернуть 833/5000 The system of organization of retail is constantly becoming complicated, there are problems for which blockchain is capable of effectively resolving. Nevertheless, there are few successful practices of technology implementation, and criteria for determining success (performance) are not formed. In this paper, the author carried out qualitative research, during which 20 experts (IT specialists and managers) with experience in implementing blockchains were interviewed. According to the results, models of technology implementation, factors influencing this process were highlighted. Practical approaches to determining the performance of the blockchain in three retail sectors: banking, food, non-food and pharmaceutical were also considered. Finally, recommendations were formulated for choosing the optimal strategy for applying the blockchain technology and measuring its effectiveness.
