Architecture of Programs for Researching Self-organization Process of Rod-like Particles Based on Entropy Characteristics

Student: Shulga Mikhail

Supervisor: Mikhail Ulyanov

Faculty: Faculty of Computer Science

Educational Programme: System and Software Engineering (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2019

The objects of the research are the previously developed software implementations for researching the process of self-organization of rod-like particles. The subject of current research is the architecture of such software implementations. During the execution of the work, an analysis of the architectures and behavior of four existing programs was conducted, on the basis of which a new architectural and software solution was proposed. The resulting architecture and framework can be used in research related to the use of the entropy function to the process of self-organization. The use of new architecture in some cases will accelerate the speed of calculations. This work contains 86 pages, 5 applications including source code, 1 table, 1 figure and 8 sources. Keywords: entropy function, self-organization process, rod-like particles.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree.
