Political Aspects of the Budget Process in the State Duma of the 6th Convocation

The master’s thesis analyzes the activities of the State Duma of the VI Convocation for consideration and approval of the draft federal law on the federal budget for the next fiscal year and the planning period during four budget cycles through the prism of the political aspects of budgeting. In the analysis, the author applies the institutional-functional method for assessing the level of distribution of budgetary allocations and assessing the involvement of political parties in the budget process by analyzing the voting procedure for the draft law on the federal budget and the process of amending it.
