Появление малой авиации подарило много возможностей, недоступных ранее: исследование Северного полюса стало проще, появилась возможность для нового вида транспорта. Многие исследования стали проводиться именно благодаря развитию малой авиации. Данная диссертация посвящена истории малой авиации в России на этапе перехода от постсоветского пространства к постсоветскому, в частности, истории развития объединений и организаций малой авиации. Основная цель данного исследования - понять, почему после распада СССР была разрушена успешно развивавшаяся в СССР система малой авиации, и найти ответ на вопрос, возможно ли восстановление отрасли малой авиации и как эта задача может быть решена.
