Legal Regulation of Work of Sportsmen in Foreign Countries

This work is devoted to the legal regulation of the athlete's labor in a comparatively legal aspect in the Russian and foreign legislation. Particular attention is paid to the concept of an athlete and the legal status of this subject in labor relations. At the same time, a considerable number of foreign sources were studied regarding this issue and attempts were made to fill in the gaps in Russian legislation. Also, separate chapters are devoted to such important labor law institutions as an employment contract, rest hours and pay. These institutions are analyzed in the aspect of both Russian and foreign legislation. In this case, it was concluded that the application of civil and labor laws to labor relations was inconsistent, and an attempt was made to solve this problem. The history of the formation and development of legislation in this field in Russia and foreign countries, the features of legal regulation on the example of various legal acts in this field have been studied. This work will be useful as a labor law and sports professionals.
