Psychoanalytical Approach to the Analysis of the Phenomenon of Frozen Relations

The purpose of the graduation paper is to analyze the phenomenon of frozen relationships and the unconscious reasons for its development within adult relationships. Theoretical part of the research consists of the analysis of the prerequisites for the development of mature love relationships, the concept of love in psychoanalysis, object relations theory. The empirical part of the work consists of the analysis of a clinical case. The research confirms the link between the development of the pattern of frozen relationships and intimacy with parental object in the first years of the individual’s life.
