Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Project Financing in Russia

The theme: Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Project Financing in Russia. In the world practice project finance has appeared approximately in 30-ies. Project financing is one of the key tools that contributes to economic development in the country. Thus, the main purpose of the work is to evaluate the effectiveness of project financing mechanisms in Russia. In the first chapter, the theoretical bases of project financing were studied, peculiarities of its realization in the form of public-private partnership, and also the problems and prospects of development of this mechanism of financing in Russia are considered. In the second chapter, the methods and criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of projects were studied. The cash flow discounting model has been selected as the project evaluation method. Indicators such as NPV, MIRR, DPI were considered. The third chapter of the study assesses the economic efficiency of investments in the chemical industry and transport infrastructure projects. The analysis of risk sensitivity of investment projects was carried out. In conclusion, the analysis of financial and economic indicators of the selected companies was carried out. As a result of the study it was concluded that ject financing of investment projects is an effective instrument of financing.
