Prototype of Client-Server Application for Medical Online-Consultations "e-Doctor"

Nowadays, against the background of the explosive growth in mobile technologies remote medical consultations have the potential to change medical services forever as they allow a patient to receive medical consultation in a few minutes. That can be convenient for both the patient and the doctor. This paper describes the prototype of client-server application «e-Doctor» designed for tracking private medical information and receiving medical consultations through chatting, audio and video calls with a doctor of the desired speciality. The product allows a patient to create and edit his private medical events and health parameters, send them to a doctor and receive recommendations from doctor. The key functionality of the software product is ability to edit all private medical information without the Internet connection with subsequent synchronization with the server. This paper contains a brief market analysis, the description of the architecture of the software product, his main functions and technologies used in the process of development.
