The Image of the Soviet Woman of 1950–1960 in the English–Language Historiography

In this paper we study the material created in English historiography and devoted to the study of the life of Soviet women. The paper attempts to identify the main trends and main topics of interest to Western researchers. In the course of the work, the sources created from the 1960s to the present time were analyzed. In the framework of the study, the views in English-language works on the situation of Soviet women in the economic, political and social spheres were investigated.
