Educational Programme: Infocommunication Technologies and Systems (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2019

In this paper, the important aspects of the magnetic shielding were explored. The characteristics which is necessary for evaluation of the effectiveness of the magnetic shielding were analyzed. In addition, the mechanism of the magnetic shielding was researched. The emphasis has been placed mainly on the problems related with the design stages of magnetic shields. After sources analysis, the method to calculate the magnetic shield effectiveness was selected. This methodology was chosen as a basement for an algorithm which allow calculate and optimize shield parameters. According to this algorithm, the software was developed for founding of the maximum shield efficiency and changing shield characteristics depending on the size. A test calculation was provided. As a result, the feasibility of using this program in the early stages of shield development was approved. In conclusion, the user manual was provided. It will help in process of shield construction.
