Development of the Telemetry Information Transfer System for Industrial Equipment

Effective management of industrial equipment is a complex problem that is hardly imaginable without smart monitoring systems. Current solutions use mainly GSM networks for telematic data transmission. However, such systems have several flaws. In this paper a system based on the LPWAN network technology for telematic data transmission will be proposed. This work will cover basics of LORAWAN technology. Furthermore, LORAWAN security features will be overviewed and network size limitations will be analyzed. Then a prototype of the system will be developed. Finally, a group of tests will be held to estimate the reliability of LORAWAN network in mobile applications.
