In the context of the modern technological world and infusion of social media in personal life, the concept of privacy which never had been certain and sharp becomes even more elusive. What defines privacy? What is its value? And how should we address privacy issues concerned with morality nowadays, where can we find guides? The attempt to answer these questions is given in the thesis through the analysis of existent privacy theories. The analysis of the most concerning problems in the private sphere is also given here. A new definition of privacy must be the result of the research, and this definition should be usable for the appliance in the informational era.
