Evaluation of the competitiveness of Russian regions on the example of the Central Federal District

In this work the analysis of the concept "regional competitiveness" is carried out, its essence is defined. Moreover, theoretical aspects of competitiveness assessment and the existing methods of its calculation are considered. In a practical part of the work the applied techniques are described and calculation of an integrated indicator of regional competitiveness of the CFD is carried out, their rating is formed and the group of territories depending on the received results is carried out, practical recommendations are made.
