This thesis is a complex research dedicated to the root causes of critical incidents at the industry. In the theoretical part, there have been analysed the features of the organizational unconscious functioning and studied the defence mechanisms of anxiety suppression at the production facilities. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to verify the hypothesis of the existence of significant differences in the fantasy of employees about the production process, associated with the presence or absence of fatal accidents at the enterprise.
