Methodology for the Suppliers Efficiency Assessment

The work is devoted to the development of methodology for supplier efficiency assessment. In the theoretical part of the work are analyzed the methods traditionally used for the task of multi-criteria supplier evaluation. Moreover, the most essential criteria determining the complex supplier assessment are also taken into account. The second part of the work describes the step-by-step algorithm of the supplier efficiency assessment methodology, including the following steps: suppliers group formation, performance indicators selection, indicators values normalization, importance of indicators assignment and integral assessment calculation. In order to determine the significance of performance indicators the method of expert assessments, analytic hierarchy method and the method of relative preferences are used, whereas the formation of the integral assessment takes place in accordance with the principles of the complex qualimetry method. Approbation of the methodology is carried out on the example of the assessment of transport service providers of the international road transportation department of Major Cargo Service LLC.
