Collaboration, as an Example of Project Management in Fashion Industry. This study examines the nature of the “collaboration” phenomenon and determines the need of fashion industry companies for the applicability of the project management methodology in certain significant aspects of their activities. The first chapter presents the theoretical aspects of collaborations: approaches to the definition of the concept, the classification of motives and the integration of the collaboration into the theory of project management are considered In the second chapter, the author examines the causes of the formation of collaborations in the world in the context of industry sector companies. Examples of reference forms of collaborations are given, and hypotheses are put forward that determine the goals and features of the creation and implementation of collaborations. In the third chapter, the process of creating and implementing a collaboration in the fashion industry is modeled by using the proposed approaches for its formalization and optimization. According to the results of the study, they are offered according to recommendations for optimizing the methods of project management of collaboration in the fashion industry.
