Modern Open-Air Museums in Russia and Abroad: the Specificity and Perspectives of Development

This work is devoted to modern open-air museums in Russia and abroad, their specifics and development prospects. The paper discusses several Russian and European open-air museums. We study the history of the formation of modern museums, as well as the characteristic features for each of them. Based on the results of the analysis of the work of museums, a forecast of the prospects for the development of museums in the future is carried out, and discussion questions regarding the organization of future museums are considered.
