Forecasting of Financial Performance of Companies considering Intellectual Capital

Student: Britvina Ksenia

Supervisor: Irina Ivashkovskaya

Faculty: Faculty of Economic Sciences

Educational Programme: Corporate Finance (Master)

Final Grade: 8

Year of Graduation: 2019

In the conditions of post-industrial economy, the stability of companies has become dependent on not only the amount of physical capital, but also on the availability of a variety of resources such as information, innovation, human and client capital. Classical forecasting models do not take into account the impact of such resources. The work is aimed to build an empirical forecasting model, which considers both financial ratios and measurements of intellectual capital and non-financial factors. The model was built based on the Ohlson logit-model and tested on the data of Russian public companies for 2012–2017.
