Summary of the diploma project by Romantsova Anastasia Vladimirovna “DESIGN OF A CONTEMPORARY PRINTED EDITION – MAGAZINE ABOUT CINEMA” IDEA OF THE DIPLOMA’S PROJECT: Commercial printed edition - magazine. Magazine about cinema. MARKETING JUSTIFICATION: Editions about art, whether it is about: painting, photography, architecture, fashion, design or cinema, are always in demand. It is never redundant to remind about wonderful films. To replicate and transmit the beautiful is noble, fascinating, profitable. NAME - KINO FOCUS (*english translation: cinema focus) PHILOSOPHY OF THE MAGAZINE: Cinema is one of the ways to discover the world, learn about its beauty and problems. Cinema is a great opportunity to take a fresh look at the well and long known, get acquainted with new views, with non-standard views, learn a new outlook on the world. Cinema is a good way to learn how to understand and how to be compassionate. A good movie, regardless of the genre, makes us think, laugh and cry. These ideas served as the main motive for choosing a graduation project. MOTO OF THE MAGAZINE: Inform, entertain, educate! STRUCTURE OF THE MAGAZINE: The magazine is divided into headings which are divided into three blocks: - informing - entertaining - educating THE TARGET AUDIENCE: Estimated target audience is very wide - from amateurs to professionals. KINO FOCUS attempts to focus attention of the audience on the most current and acute (in my opinion) problems. It attempts to cover materials all the way from the origins of this “synthetic art” to it’s present. New film trends with new ideas, directions and new theories should not be neglected on the pages of the proposed edition. The task that was set during the implementation of this graduation project: - to invent and make a magazine in accordance to the conceived idea.
