Social capital, human capital and knowledge sharing have been considered by many researchers as impactful factors in the context of organizational performance. Despite this, the effect of these factors has rarely been examined in relation to educational organizations, where its crucial value correlates with the mission of institutions. Thus, the paper aims to identify how social capital, human capital and knowledge sharing affect the performance measures of educational organizations. To achieve the goal, knowledge network, factor and regression types of analysis were conducted based on primary data from convenience-based purposive sample of St. Petersburg schools. As a result, knowledge network is constructed. Social capital, human capital and knowledge sharing has proved to be significant factors imposing positive and negative impact on school performance indicators. Innovation, informatization and infrastructure were revealed as additional significant factors. Based on this, a list of factors crucial for educational organizations to build capacity and unleash current potential is developed.
