Master thesis is devoted to identifying trends in the market of mobile applications for hotel booking. In the last few years mobile traffic increases and consolidates its share compared to the desktop, companies need to follow the new trend and support it, adapt their sites for mobile devices or develop mobile applications for their product and consumers. If the company meets the needs of consumers, it radically reduces its chances of failure, securing its position in the market. It is the strengthening of the share of mobile traffic that allows confirming the relevance of the studied problem – consumers begin either to use both the desktop and mobile version of the sites, or completely switch to the mobile version. This phenomenon also arises for the services for booking hotels. The object of this study is mobile applications for booking accommodation facilities, and the subject of the study is the change in the set of functions of these applications for 2018-2019. The aim of the final work is to identify trends in the market of mobile applications of hotel booking services. The current study consists of an introduction, two chapters, conclusion, bibliography and application. The study include 19 tables, 2 images, 2 applications, 71 sources of literature. The total number of pages of the master thesis – 79. This study systematizes previous publications in the field of mobile technologies for the hospitality industry, indicating that the use of smartphones by users significantly changes the tourist experience, both from the point of view of consumers and service providers, and in the empirical part confirms that booking services adjust their products, taking into account the preferences of consumers and setting trends in the market over time.
