Protestant Ethic as the Means of Creating a Clothing Collection.

The project proposal of the research is devoted to studying the ethic of protestants and its effect on the process of development of a fashion collection. The main issue of the research is built around the concept of the protestant ethic which is based on the religious beliefs and values. The roots of the concept are tightly connected with principles of work ethic which emphasize the conscientious and diligent behavior. The prior aim of the research is to provide a theoretical basis that establishes sustainability for a future clothing line development. Focus point is assigned with the environmental issues, overconsumption problem in particular. The project is constructed on the statement that global issues are redefined in fashion. The world of fashion itself can be a powerful tool that shapes society. The main goal is set to be achieved via construction of a fashion collection that corresponds with the moral values and hardworking ethic. Most importantly, that translates the burning issue to the potential customer and creates a new perspective of consuming the fashion.
