The Image of Russia in German Media Space on the Example of Materials Published by Focus, der Spiegel and Bild

In the modern global world, in which the value of information is of particular importance, the problem of reproduction in the media of countries and governments plays a key role in building effective relationships with other participants in international relations. Today, the mass media is the main resource through which the majority of the population learns about international events. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that at present the problem of representing Russia in the international arena has become particularly important for Russia due to the relative international isolation after the reunification of the Crimea with Russia in 2014 and the subsequent negative reaction of the European Union and the United States, which resulted in difficulties cooperation of Russia and the countries of the collective West. To identify the features of this state of affairs in this study, an analysis of the Internet publications of the three leading German news media - Focus, der Spiegel and Bild for the period from 01.05. 18 will be carried to 05/01/19.
