Annotation The topic of this thesis is following: ‘’Dress code in a company as an ınstrument of corporate culture. Impact of the sphere of activity on dress code’’. The work consists of introduction, five chapters, conclusion and references. Relevance of the topic is referred to such modern tendencies of the market as increased competition between companies, formation of the dress code as an element of corporate culture uniting the staff, motivating people to follow common rules and principles , as a key to success of the organisation. The goal of this work is to learn the theoretical basis of such notions as `corporate culture` and `dress code`, determination of main components of corporate culture, learning the influence of dress codes on corporate culture, analysis of the dress codes of such companies as `Sberbank`, Gazprom Neft, TSUM, Corsocomo; Comparing the dress codes of industrial, banking sphere and fashion industry we come to conclusion that development of corporate style is a promotional and image necessity for every organisation. Perspectivity of this work is driven by the fact that corporate dress code is not something stable and frozen in time. It has to evolve, find new ways in order to be competitive on the market.
