Economic and Statistical Analysis of the Characteristics of Juvenile Delinquency in Russia

This work is devoted to main trends of juvenile delinquency in Russia and the analysis of its characteristics. The main goals of the research are: to reveal how much juvenile crime is developed in Russia, to find out what factors it is most sensitive to, to look at the dynamics of juvenile delinquency over the last years as well as at the dynamics of criminal record rate, to realize what measures the government can apply to minors and to find out if juvenile justice is way more loyal in relations to minors. Database was taken mainly from Rosstat and General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation. Chosen methods are connected with regression analysis, as well as regression analysis in terms of cluster analysis in the context of the regions. Also there will be an explanation of the real trends in the development of juvenile crime in the 20th century.
