Socioeconomic Factors of Tobacco Consumption in the Contemporary Russia

In this study, we have assessed the impact of socio-economic factors on the individual volume of smoking, taking into account demographic, consumer, economic and social contextual variables. It was done in a multilevel manner with step-by-step process of developing and complication of the models. Finally, we come up with models which include cross-level interaction between different contextual measures of smoking normativity in the place of living of the person and effect of sex on the individual level amount of daily smoked cigarettes.
