Tourist Brand "Moscow XX Century"

Moscow is a city that has experienced many leaders and eras, happiness and grief. Every year and every decade Moscow is changing, sometimes gradually, sometimes abruptly and suddenly. "Moscow XX" is a project covering the theme of Moscow life of the 20th century. The project is intended to consider the phenomenon of Moscow as the center of a huge country not only in political discourse, but also from everyday, or Vice versa, pompous and solemn points of view. The authors tried to reveal the theme both on the example of major political events, and on the example of remarkable urban details, characters, places and other key points, inextricably linked with the fate of the capital. The book "Moscow XX" has a chronological structure and is divided into major sections for decades. Within each section the key events, persons and concepts related to Moscow of this period are considered. During the preparation of the publication, a lot of research work was carried out with the sources, as well as editorial work, which included the selection and search for key features and facts of the era. Various sources have been carefully studied; the search for materials has been carried out in periodicals of different years, books, online resources and open archives. The aim of the project is to show the face of the twentieth century through the prism of the city, which absorbed all the best and worst features of the time. Returning dry facts life and appearance, creating a holistic and at the same time disparate image of both the era and the city. The result of this study is extremely important for further work on the project, as it gives the authors the necessary factual and intonational basis for the creation of identity and understanding of corporate style, positioning and the mission of the brand. When working with the material of the study, a lot of specific details were identified, which will certainly help to create a conceptually and visually well-designed brand.
