Groupthink Factors Within Cross-Functional Group Activities

Russian companies suffer professional and methodological crisis in decision making and idea implementation. Some researchers believe that cross-functional workgroups able to establish effective communications to be a possible solution. However, the group may be affected by various socio-psychological effects in decision making process, such as groupthink (i.e. the tendency to join the dominant idea and refuse other variants). The thesis studies the situational factors of this phenomenon.
