The problem of resistance to organizational change today is acute in modern companies seeking to acquire the status of a highly reliable organization. Using the example of one of these organizations, which is in a state of active implementation of the concept of group awareness, we consider the main problems that arise when introducing organizational changes, and also reveal the effect of the level of group awareness on the level of resistance to organizational changes. Since this work is practice-oriented, its main goal is to study the level of tolerance to organizational change on the part of employees, measure the level of group awareness of research participants, and develop recommendations for managing resistance to innovative projects. The objects of the research are the participants of project teams and project teams participating in the development of an innovative product for an external consumer. The subject of the research is the processes of resistance to organizational changes within the company. Working hypothesis of a research project: Highly reliable project teams (teams with a high level of group awareness) have low resilience to organizational change. The main tasks that need to be addressed as part of testing the working hypothesis are: 1. Analysis of the level of resistance to organizational changes within the studied project teams; 2. Identifying the most influential factors of resistance to organizational change; 3. Analysis of the level of group awareness within the studied project teams; 4. Identification of the most influential factors of group awareness; 5. Formulation of recommendations for improving the management of organizational change from the point of view of group awareness. The scientific novelty lies in the study of the features of change management using the example of a specific organization, taking into account the influence of the basic concepts of group awareness on the behavior of each member of the project team and the formation of group attitudes to external changes in general. In the conditions of continuous development of organizational structures, research on the issues of change management through the prism of group awareness will help to create the optimal model of change management for a given organization. The obtained data will be collected and analyzed in order to identify the main factors contributing to the development of tolerance to changes in project teams through the prism of group awareness. Based on these results, recommendations will be made to increase the effective use of the concept of group awareness in order to increase tolerance to changes in the project.
