Pyotr Valuev as a Political Thinker

The theme of my Final Qualifying Work “Peter Valuev as a political thinker.” Objective: to Demonstrate the evolution of P. A. Valuev's ideas on the reform of the Russian Empire in the second half of the nineteenth Century., to characterize, on the basis of the studied and political views, and projects of reforms, Valuev as a political thinker. To achieve the goal of the study, the following tasks are set: To demonstrate the development of political views of P. A. Valuev, their change under the influence of a number of different factors To analyze the influence of Valuev's ideas on the development of Russian constitutionalism in the XIX century. To characterize the government activities To consider approaches to the reform of state institutions The paper uses General scientific methods of analysis and synthesis. The main approaches in the implementation of the work are: system - consideration of the object as a whole set of elements in the set of relations and relations between them, that is, the consideration of the object as a system and specifically historical, which is an analysis of external – economic, socio-political for the impact on the formation and development of Ideas Main results: 1)p. A. Valuev had his own political program, which involved reforming the structure of state bodies and economic mechanisms. Valuev implemented this program with varying success, by trying to promote their own reform projects.2)Valuev's Political views cannot be described as liberal or conservative, they have been modified and evolved in accordance with the socially significant events around. 3)the Purpose of the reforms carried out by Valuev – modernization of the Russian Empire through the adoption of the state system of developed European countries, as well as the elimination of conflicts and contradictions between different social strata of society in order to prevent and reduce revolutionary sentiments that are a direct threat to the government.
