Humanistic Trend in Criminal Justice Development in the XVIII-XXI Centuries

In the current work the development of the humanistic beginnings of criminal justice is researched, starting from XVIII century until present time. Since XVIII criminal justice has undergo through the fundamental changes. The embodiment of the humanistic beginnigs of criminal justice was not a one-step process, humanization arose gradually under the infuelnce of the philosophical, humanitarian and judicial theories. A series of conclusions respective to the development of the humanistic beginnings in criminal justice in XVIII - XXI centuries were obtained while this master thesis had been written. Humanitization of criminal justice is a long term, as well as, interconnected and not always synonymous process. In this thesis the evolutional changes, criminal justice has undergo, are reflected.
