Business process management is a popular direction in Russian and foreign studies, which focuses on strengthening a company's existing operations. This study is devoted to improving the business process of the Novomet-Perm company and eliminating losses that are associated with the deviations of the actual duration of the process from the plan. To solve the existing problem, it is planned to conduct a percentage quantitative analysis of products and create a cause-and-effect diagram to identify the root causes of the problem. To collect and analyze data on the current state of the process, the methods of observation, timing, organizational photography, interview and lean assessment, as well as the application of the SMED principles for changeover analysis are used. As the result of the study, the time for processing a greater number of products should be gained due to reduction in the time required for operations and the distance that a worker covers during the process of manufacturing and processing products.
