Eating disorders (ED) —— the only one psychiatric disorder which can lead a patient to death. At the same time this illness has hign dropout rates while curing it in medical institution. It was discovered that ine of the most important factors, affecting curing is doctor-patient relationship. Interesting, that curing ED is often non-voluntary. Also ED is always experienced during adolescence. Hence that, nonvoluntary character of treatment can be rooted by law as until the age of 18 one does not have a right to refuse treatment. The question was: how doctor-parient relationship is formed in teenage girls with ED. The investigation was focused on teenage girls. who experienced ED treatment and doctors, who treat ED. The work was done in qualitative methodology. It was discovered, that it is important to form therapeutic alliance, which is tightly connected with patient's innitial aim of treatment. If the alliance was formed, patient obey doctor's recommendations consciously, that leads her to treatment. Otherwise she pretends to obey recomendations in order to escape treatment as soon as she can.
