Civil Legal Regulation of Protection of the Business Entity's Intellectual Rights to Software

The current task before the law is timely introduction of amendments aimed at removing obstacles in the application of intellectual property, introducing civil law aspects of protecting the interests of market participants. This paper covers the following points: • regulating relations in the field of intellectual property rights, identifying problems and advantages of Russian legislation; • analysis of legislation in order to compare with the practice in this field of foreign countries; • study of current trends in the development of forms of civil law protection of computer programs; • Analysis of the possibilities of using modern tools of civil law protection of computer programs in the Russian Federation.
